Position Summary Working closely with Ear Hustle's staff in the San Francisco Bay Area, Ear Hustle's CIW Producer will support the development and operation of an audio production program at the California Institution for Women (CIW) in Chino, California; and coordinate that program's work with the rest of the Ear Hustle team. They will be a crucial part of Ear Hustle's first attempt to develop a new prison-based training and production program since the show's founding in San Quentin State Prison in 2017. The producer will help train people incarcerated at CIW in the basics of audio production and storytelling, work as a producer and mentor as those people make their own stories, and work with the CIW team to support regular reporting trips from Ear Hustle's co-hosts Nigel Poor and Earlonne Woods.
