The Branch Sales Manager oversees branch operations, including staffing, training, inventory management, finance, systems, and facilities. Manages the overall operations, sales, and business development activities for a branch location of an organization. Being a Branch Sales Manager monitors the branch financial performance to achieve sales, growth, and profitability targets. Builds and manages relationships with existing and prospective customers to maximize sales and satisfaction. In addition, Branch Sales Manager maintains and utilizes up-to-date knowledge about the markets served, customers, vendors, and competitors to drive successful operations. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Branch Sales Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Working as a Branch Sales Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.
