Channel Account Executive Salary in San Francisco, CA

Report business partner status and sales opportunities to management team, keeping accurate and up-to-date records in salesforce.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with decision makers and influencers within assigned Channel accounts.

Lead new product adoption, drive product enhancement with assigned channel partners, and continuously work with product teams to align company product road map with assigned channel partners.

Understand product line available to clients and be able to demonstrate benefits and uses of each.

Build an action plan, develop goals, strategies, tactics and timelines for Top 10 partners.

Demonstrated experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and order management systems such as SalesForce and Oracle to manage sales process.

Meet all assigned sales booking targets * Utilize direct and channel networks to gain new customers * Maintain territory plan with detailed account and relationship plans for top prospects * Develop and grow pipeline in territory * Work with Sales Engineers and lead technical discovery and design * Work with Pricing, Contract Admin, Sales Leadership and Finance to create and gain approval on sales quotes and proposals * Present, negotiate, and gain customer signature on sales quotes and proposals * Understand and utilize internal order systems for sales, pricing and procurement * Work with Customer Development Managers to set up training and support * Represent company at trade association meetings, events, and conferences to promote value proposition and brand * Coordinate effectively between sales department and other sales support units * Record and progress sales activities within CRM tool.

Manages potential channel conflict with other company sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.

Collaborate with partners to establish a tailored implementation package for end customers and negotiate the software requirements.

Drive pipeline creation within existing partners that fit certain industry vertical profiles.
