Following established policies, procedures and guidelines, the Consumer Lending Central Underwriter is responsible for quickly making decisions on all member consumer loan applications referred for decision that originate from the Branches, MSC and eLending.

Review all loan components in the consumer loan application to include but not limited to completeness, accuracy and integrity while ensuring that documents are consistent and uphold to Company and Industry guidelines.

Responds promptly to member loan inquiries, informs members of the loan underwriting decision, and suggests alternatives regarding submission of the loan request for consideration.
March 24, 2022
Prepares complete and accurate documents required for each loan product, evaluates the sufficiency of collateral offered, and verifies that required documents have been received and are complete.

Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability by being able to discern between conflicting priorities and reprioritize as business needs dictate.

Performs recurring contact with automobile dealers, resolves complaints, reconciles GL accounts related to lending and refers more complex problems to the Senior Underwriter or the Manager of Consumer Lending.
April 24, 2022
Communicate loan decision and any required conditions, within the defined approval authority parameters, to applicable loan support staff, branches staff, and/or the member.
