The Locations Manager is responsible for scouting, securing, and managing filming locations for a production. They work closely with the production team to understand the specific requirements for each scene and then research and negotiate with property owners to secure the necessary locations. The Locations Manager also ensures that all necessary permits and permissions are obtained, and that the locations are properly prepared and maintained throughout the filming process. They may also be responsible for coordinating transportation and accommodations for the cast and crew while on location. Strong organizational and negotiation skills, as well as a keen eye for detail and creativity, are essential for success in this role.
