Monitors DLA impact on weapon system readiness and commodity product lines, and analyzes supply degraders to identify problems and solutions in order to restore acceptable levels of support.

Provides definitive guidance on interpretation of regulations and directives, regarding all classes of supply and multiple logistics services, and assists units, organizations, and activities in installation logistics and transportation matters.

Receives and forward changes for review prior to approval, and review open software reports to assist CS Test Team with status of Problem Reports and Change Requests written against Trial Cards for closure and to provide insight into high priority issues discovered during lab or other test events with potential impact on new construction ships.

Development and refinement, assisting in technical reviews of of requirements packets, assistance in the preparation of technical port for negotiation documents, assisting in level of effort requirements development, assisting in conducting training courses or briefings for Government personnel, researching and responding to inquiries, in-depth research of emerging policy, regulations, directives, or industrial issues, monitoring and tracing ongoing, new and changing requirements, monitoring project schedules, performance metrics, prepare briefings and information and attend meetings and teleconferences as required.

Review drawings and supporting documentation for Document Change Orders (DCOs), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Technical Directives (TDs), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Operation and Checkout procedures, Technical Repair Standards (TRSs), and other system documentation to evaluate the impacts on system configurations and supportability.

Requires a college degree (preferrably in Engineering), common sense, quick study, eager to learn, self starter, and ability to multi task.

Performs and manages a broad range of Logistics Support functions to include planning, material handling, procurement and emergency purchases, and quality control services.

Assists Division Chiefs and Functional Logistics Managers in coordinating and identifying near-term and long-term program requirements to ensure that BMDS Sensors, Weapons Systems and/or Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) meet mission objectives.
