Salary.com set out to determine where pay equity progress is being made, and where challenges remain, in its second annual Employer Pay Equity Pulse Survey and the verdict is in: the quest to achieve it is not getting easier. In fact, 41% of managers and HR pros said their organization is struggling to address pay equity, a 10% increase over the prior year.
Legislation is fueling an uptick in wage range disclosures in job descriptions. However, no gains were made in the percentage of companies establishing a pay philosophy that explicitly commits to pay transparency.
