The bank is embarking on a large project to enhance cybersecurity and ensure compliance with the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA). We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Cyber Business Analyst to join their team and contribute to this critical initiative.

As a Junior Cyber Business Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring that cybersecurity measures are robust and aligned with regulatory requirements, particularly DORA compliance. You will work closely with senior analysts, cybersecurity professionals, and stakeholders across the bank to identify, document, and analyse cyber risks, as well as help develop strategies to mitigate them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Support: Support the implementation of DORA requirements by working with the compliance team to ensure all cyber-related processes meet regulatory standards.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze cybersecurity data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential threats. Provide insights and recommendations based on the analysis.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, outlining cyber risks, compliance status, and proposed mitigation strategies.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between the cybersecurity team and other departments, ensuring clear and effective communication of business needs and technical solutions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance current cybersecurity processes and recommend improvements.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in business analysis, preferably within the financial services or cybersecurity industry.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and regulatory compliance (DORA knowledge is a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness.
