General Cleaner

Here at Americold Spalding we are now recruiting for a Warehouse Cleaner.

As a Cleaner your job will be to contribute to maintain a high standard of hygiene by carrying out all duties as directed by the cleaning supervisor.

You will be ensuring appropriate signage is used for areas where cleaning is being undertaken, as well as ensuring the use of suitable equipment and chemicals, in line with the health & safety procedures and safe systems of work. PPE should be worn in adherence with the risk assessments for the tasks involved to ensure the avoidance of any hazards.

You are required to clean canteens, changing rooms, toilets, offices, front reception and all communal and staff welfare areas, by emptying bins, vacuum, cleaning windows, cleaning the floors and any other cleaning duty required.

Essential Criteria

• Previous cleaning experience (essential)
• An enthusiastic and proactive approach towards tasks
• People who are self-motivated with the ability to work both on their own initiative and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skill
• The ability to prioritise workload effectively in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £11.00-£12.00 per hour
