Job Title: Permanent Nanny

Location: Central Cheltenham

Start date: Ideally end of June 2024 - but will wait for right person if required

Salary: up to £40,000 gross per annum dependent on experience & qualifications

Children: Boys aged nearly 4 & 5 years and Girl aged 17 months

Days/hours: Monday to Friday 12pm - 7pm ( option to do 10am - 5pm during school holidays)

Additional information

• Proxy parenting required ( advance notice provided)
• Confident driver required with access to family car if required or if using own car work mileage will be paid
• Eldest two children currently attend Kindergarten/School full time and the Girl attends nursery two mornings per week
• Family have three friendly dogs ( 2 miniature greyhounds & working cocker spaniel)
• Opportunities to travel if available

Job Description:

Our client is looking to find a nanny who is experienced, calm and nurturing. The role is a mixture of sole charge/shared care. The parents are keen for the nanny to become part of their family and feel comfortable working as a team.

Both parents work . During term time the nanny would be expected to help with the school/nursery pick ups, support any extra curricular activities and help with the supper and bedtime routine. During the school holidays they are keen for the nanny to organise fun and stimulating activities for the children. The boys are sporty and love being outside playing football but also enjoy being creative and building Lego models or doing art activities at the table. Their little sister is very inquisitive and at the stage of nearly walking. She loves the outdoors and has mastered some basic baby sign to help communicate. The boys currently attend swimming lessons, football class but they also hope to attend gymnastics and dance classes.

The role would suit someone active who enjoys being outdoors, getting creative with activities and can provide a calm atmosphere is a busy household. Experience with similar aged children would be beneficial and someone who can provide a good balance of a gentle parenting approach alongside being firm when required.
