- Female staff to be able to do sleep-over shifts, from 10pm to 7am, in Barnet, primarily required during Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, but also during week-days, when necessary.
- To be able to implement ‘professional boundaries’ at work, in an informal, homely setting. To respect that you are ‘sleeping-in’, in a family home, where you are sharing space with a family.
- To meet the needs of a young woman, with learning disabilities, as required, for instance; Discreetly checking that she has taken her medication.
- To maintain positive relationships with the person being supported, as well as with other people involved in her life.
- To support the individual in a very person- centred way. To allow her to take the lead as much as possible and to avoid ‘telling her what to do’ or being overly prescriptive, in all interactions with her.
- To promote the person’s autonomy, at all times.
- To report any concerns to the on- call manager.
