We are looking to recruit a caring, positive and proactive Senior Midday Supervisory Assistant (SMSA) to join our friendly staff team here at Ralph Butterfield Primary School.
Are you an enthusiastic and cheerful individual? Are you someone who is able to motivate and enthuse children, effectively support their wellbeing? Are you able to promote positive play and high standards of behaviour? Do you also have the leadership skills required to effectively lead and inspire a team of midday supervisory assistants? If so, we are looking for you.
This self-driven person would work with our pupils and midday supervisory assistants to ensure that our children have a really positive and enjoyable experience at lunchtime. The right candidate will do so whilst sustaining the embedded, caring ethos of the school and following our positive behaviour management procedures.
This role is Monday to Friday, term-time for a total of 8 hours 20 minutes a week, with 1 hour 40 minutes to be worked daily. The daily hours are to be worked as directed by the Headteacher and/or School Business Manager (between the hours of 11:50am - 1:30pm).
The post is to work during school term time and training days (39 weeks of the year).
