Role Overview:


We are seeking a driven and highly organised Finance Assistant to join our team and take charge of critical financial tasks within our fast-paced consultancy. This role is vital to ensuring the smooth functioning of our finance operations, and we are looking for someone who can deliver accuracy, accountability, and a proactive approach.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage accounts payable and supplier payments
  • Oversee accounts receivable and debtor management
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations
  • Administer company credit cards and expense claims with accuracy
  • Perform bank reconciliations with precision
  • Reconcile timesheets and invoices
  • Assist with revenue and WIP reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly journal entries
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support management decisions
  • Review, document, and improve finance systems and processes
  • Offer responsive support to internal teams with finance-related queries


About You:


You are meticulous and highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. You take ownership of tasks, demonstrate sound judgement, and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Your communication skills allow you to build trusted relationships, and you can be relied upon to deliver results without constant supervision.

A London based presence in the office is essential to support day-to-day queries and key to building strong relationships, and becoming a trusted face of the finance team.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a finance role or relevant qualification is preferred but not essential.
  • Familiarity with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
