Role Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial strategy and operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, a proven track record in securing funding and grants, and the ability to navigate complex financial landscapes. This role is pivotal as we look to implement changes in the company shareholding to both, attract senior talent and incentivise current staff, and prepare for a fundraising transaction within the next few years.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar financial leadership role, preferably within a consultancy or tech-focused environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, funding mechanisms, and grant applications, particularly within the UK (& also EU) context.
  • Experience in restructuring to offer share incentives and employee share schemes and managing complex financial transactions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • A good working understanding of financial tools and processes to simplify and automate financial management and reporting.
