Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage, challenge, and inspire pupils in year 1, aligned with the National Curriculum.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued, supported, and motivated to achieve their full potential.
Utilize assessment data to track pupil progress, provide targeted support, and ensure all learners make excellent academic and personal development.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to support the holistic development of pupils.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with experience teaching Key Stage 1.
A thorough understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching methodologies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
A passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
Additional Information
This position is a full-time role, commencing in Sept 2024 on an ongoing basis.
Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
