Job Description
Our client, a global pioneer in sustainable aviation is building technology to change the way the world travels, they are combining the very best talent from Aerospace, Formula 1 and Automotive to develop a cutting-edge electric aircraft. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Aircraft Electrician to join their team in Filton, with occasional travel to Kemble.
Duties & Responsibilities
Carrying out the fitting of mechanical and avionic components.
Carrying out the build, testing and commissioning of sub-assemblies and full aircraft systems including low and high voltage electrical and mechanical systems as well as providing support for aircraft systems test and flight test activities.
Ensuring all appropriate paper work or recording is completed and maintained (job cards, tech logs, tech library, ERP system entries).
Maintaining a high standard of tool cleanliness and control throughout the workshop assembly areas, labs and machine rooms and maintaining exemplary FOD prevention methods throughout.
Shift Pattern
Early / Late shift pattern - weekly rotation
06:00-14:30
14:00-22:00
Key Skills, Qualifications, Experience
BTEC Certificate Aerospace Engineering or higher,
Relevant commercial aircraft apprenticeship or military equivalent.
Minimum 2-5 years’ aircraft build / production experience.
