Class 1 HIAB Driver

KPI Recruiting are on the lookout for a skilled Class 1 HIAB Driver to join our client based in Wishaw. This role offers a competitive pay of £20.00 per hour, with a Monday to Friday schedule starting at 07:00 each day. Key Responsibilities

Driving & Delivery: Operate Class 1 vehicles equipped with a HIAB Hook Grab attachment to deliver building materials to customer homes and construction sites.

HIAB Operation: Safely use HIAB equipment to load and unload goods, ensuring all health and safety standards are followed.

Vehicle Safety & Maintenance: Conduct routine checks on the vehicle and HIAB equipment, maintaining safety at all times.

Communication: Keep in touch with logistics teams to report any delays or issues, ensuring smooth and efficient deliveries.

Essential Skills And Qualifications

Driving Licence: Valid UK Category CE driving licence (held for at least one year), with no more than 6 points.

HIAB Qualification: Certified HIAB Hook Grab operator.

CPC & Tachograph: Possession of a valid CPC and digital tachograph card.

Safety Awareness: Strong knowledge of HIAB safety procedures.

Communication & Time Management: Effective communicator with good time management skills.

Requirements

Experience in a similar role, with previous HIAB Hook Grab experience essential.
