Role Overview
As a Facilities Manager, you will manage a range of responsibilities to ensure efficient operation of maintenance services across multiple sites. This role will require close communication with both clients and subcontractors to meet contractual obligations, maintain compliance, and oversee the performance of internal and external teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve subcontractor and internal maintenance reports to ensure compliance is met.
- Manage reactive and planned maintenance works to ensure completion within agreed contractual KPIs.
- Accurately quote for remedial work, reactive tasks, and emergency callouts.
- Scrutinize subcontractor quotes for remedial and reactive works.
- Procure materials for reactive and remedial works and manage site critical spares.
- Communicate directly with the client on contractual obligations within agreed timeframes.
- Ensure subcontractors meet their contractual obligations through direct communication.
- Track and file client purchase orders for invoicing.
- Oversee the site administrator to ensure their tasks are completed to an acceptable standard.
- Manage internal site engineers, ensuring efficiency and high-quality work, including witnessing their work on-site.
- Oversee subcontractor engineers and witness their work to ensure standards are met.
- Conduct monthly project inspection walk-arounds with the Operations Manager to identify H&S and operational issues.
- Compile monthly PDF project reports for the Operations Manager and Operations Director.
