Job Title: Community Care Assistant/ Home Care Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated community care assistant / home care assistant to provide support and assistance to individuals in their homes. As a home care assistant, you will be responsible for helping clients with various tasks to ensure their comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities:

-Medication administration and support
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Help with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and organizing
- Run errands, such as grocery shopping or picking up prescriptions
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
- Monitor and report any changes in client's health or behavior to the appropriate supervisor
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for clients

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Basic knowledge of personal care techniques and household chores
- Ability to adapt to different client needs and preferences
- Reliable transportation (own vehicle) and valid driver's license

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: £12.00-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 48 per week

Schedule:

• Every weekend
• Weekend availability
• Weekends only

• Leeds, West Yorkshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
