Role Title: Payments Executive

Reports to: Payments Operations Manager

Payments Executive core responsibilities

• Daily processing of client withdrawals ensuring daily deadlines are met
• Carry out spot checks on source of client funds as part of anti-money laundering checks
• Interact with customers by phone and email to facilitate their withdrawals requests and resolving any issues related to those requests
• Communicate with our banking partners to resolve issues around incoming and outgoing payments.
• Review client account documentation relating to a client’s request to change the bank account linked to their BullionVault accounts. Liaise with the Client Services team to efficiently approve these requests or request further details, as necessary
• Prepare and publish the daily reconciliation of client property and bullion holdings (daily audit) using statements issued by our vault operators and banks
• Prepare and record details of payments to suppliers
• Carry out any additional tasks assigned to you by your managers.

We are looking for someone with:

• A personal drive and attention to detail in ensuring each withdrawal request is acted upon in a timely and efficient manner so that funds are returned to the client’s linked bank account in line with our commitment to customers
• A high degree of integrity, trustworthiness and reliability
• A confident, positive, professional attitude with high attention to detail
• The ability to work independently, within a team and across teams
• Excellent writing and communication skills, with a friendly, articulate and confident telephone manner
• Computer skills including proficiency with word and excel, highly numerate
• Flexibility and resourcefulness to take on additional tasks and responsibilities as the business requires it
• A good degree-level qualification
• Work experience, preferably with customer service or treasury management elements. No knowledge of the financial sector is expected but would be appreciated.
• This is mainly an office-based position though working from home one day per week may be possible after completing your probation period.
