Monday to Friday

Rate £18.00 per hour [weekdays]. £20 per hour [weekends].

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Gi Group and work with one of our Clients in Derby, driving DAYS - delivering to farms and businesses NATIONWIDE.

Driver Responsibilities

Driving a Class I vehicle, following a planned route from the Clients site in Derby to farms and business across the UK typically in more rural area's.

Driver Requirements And Skills

• You must be happy with Nationwide deliveries and driving in more rural areas
• You MUST be in possession of a HGV Class 1 (C E) license, Driver CPC & DIGI Cards
• Motoring convictions starting with the code SP for speeding offences are acceptable, up to a max. of 6 points.
• All paper work must be checked and completed as instructed
• Drivers are to download their DIGI card at the start and end of each shift
• Drivers are to follow site rules and procedures provided beforehand
• Drivers are to adhere to the 5 MPH speed limit whilst on site
• Handball may be required but only light and on the odd occasion
• Drivers are reminded of their responsibilities to Drivers hours legislation and RT(WT)R
• Strong work ethic, reliable, flexible, Upbeat, self-motivated and resilient - are welcomed in this role.
• Able to work on tight schedule whilst maintaining high safety standards throughout.
• You must have good geographical knowledge
