Graduate Teaching Assistant - SEN Experienced

Pay Scale: £75 - £100 per day

Start Date: September 2024

Contract Type: Full Time

The Role

We are currently working in partnership with a well-resourced school in Gateshead that requires a Graduate Teaching Assistant with SEN (Special Educational Needs) experience to join their team in September. The school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic graduate who can support the learning and development of students with SEN.

The Successful Candidate Will

• Have a relevant degree and experience working with students with SEN.
• Experience working in a school setting within the last two years is preferred.
• Be able to support students' learning and help them achieve their academic and developmental goals.
• Have strong behaviour management skills to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with all individuals, including pupils, colleagues, and parents.
• Be enthusiastic and highly motivated, leading by example and encouraging students to achieve their best.
