Job Title: Support Worker

Location: Colchester, Essex

Hours: 36-hour contract

Salary: £12.00 per hour, Sleep-ins (£60 per night)*

Shifts:

Must be flexible to cover days, nights and weekends.

Days - 8am to 11pm

Nights - 11pm to 8am

Alternative Weekends.

We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated support workers to join our dynamic team to work with our clients from the ages of 13 .

Hayley Care are proud to provide supported accommodation to Vulnerable young people & adults from age of 13 and onwards in the Colchester area.

We aim to provide the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to become more independent for their future.
The Clients who will be situating in our accommodations may be from a range of different backgrounds.
We have a close team that values a supportive and welcoming work environment.

Position summary:

As a support worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals with diverse needs to live independently and with dignity.
Your primary responsibility will be to prove person centred care and support, tailored to the unique requirement of each individual.
The role requires compassion, patient, and proactive individuals who are committed to enhancing the quality of life for our client

What will be expected from you as a Support Worker?

  • An excellent understanding of safeguarding
  • An ability to articulate and ensure comprehensive record keeping
  • Previous experience working with young people and adults
  • Preferred – mental health experience
  • Preferred - Previous experience within an OFSTED regulated residential setting
  • Preferred - NVQ/Diploma Level 3, or equivalent, in Children & Young people
  • Preferred - Driver with full UK driving licence

*You will be required to complete sleep-ins within your rotated shift pattern, if you require more information on this it will be discussed at interview.

** We will pay for your initial DBS check, where it is then your responsibility to either join the update service or pay for a new certificate upon renewal date (every 2 years).
