Hays Senior Finance are delighted to be partnering with a Norfolk charity in their search for a Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant to lead the finance team as Interim Head of Finance for a period of 14 months. The role offers hybrid working of ideally 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home, along with a generous benefits package. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the vision and long-term strategy for the charity, to ensure the team deliver the highest standards of good practice, ensuring that all financial and statutory obligations are met.
Your new role
In this 14-month contract Accountant job, you will work closely with the Senior Leadership team in maximising the financial resources and financial reporting data to meet the needs of the charity. As Interim Head of Finance, you review all financial controls, prepare year-end reporting on statutory requirements, ensure accurate recording of income and expenditure, balance sheet review & analysis, charity SORP reporting through to reviewing grants, projects and restricted funds.
What You'll Need To Succeed
Ideally, you will be a qualified Accountant with broad finance experience with excellent organisational skills and technical expertise in finance reporting.
What You'll Get In Return
The organisation will pay circa £46,000 with an 8% employer pension contribution, flexible hybrid working, 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays.
