School Caretaker - split shifts

Your new companyAs a temporary caretaker, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, cleanliness and maintenance of the school premises and grounds. You will also assist with setting up and clearing away equipment for school events, activities and exams. As a caretaker you will work closely with the school staff and follow their instructions and policies. I have a role currently working split shifts and up December 2024.To be eligible for this role, you will need to have:A valid DBS check or be willing to apply for oneA good level of physical fitness and manual dexterityA basic knowledge of health and safety regulations and proceduresA friendly, reliable and flexible attitudeA willingness to learn new skills and take on new challengesYou will also benefit from having:Previous experience as a caretaker or in a similar role or in a school environmentHappy to do split shifts 6.30am - 9.30am then 3pm - 6pmA relevant qualification or training in caretaking, maintenance or facilities managementWe offer competitive rates of pay, flexible hours and a variety of assignments across different schools in West Yorkshire.
