Our client is a leading manufacturer, supplying into various types of sectors. They are looking for an experienced PCB Test Engineer that has covered a wide range of developments regarding PCBs and testing.
Role & Responsibilities
Completing various PCB Repair, Testing and support of the design function
This will cover a wide variation daily, supporting the business across the departments that will need support in this region.
Provide manufacturing support by calculating production, labour and material costs and estimating future requirements.
Working to component level of complete products from a range of areas.
Covering PCB Design drawings & further complex schematics
Using multimeters & other CMM machinery for testing
Utilise the CMMS systems fully and assist in its development
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
3 years experience in the PCB field
Testing Experience - Essential
Degree or NVQ Level 3 Qualified
Previous work on Test Rigs, Wiring Looms and further developments in PCB manufacturing
Qualified to HNC/HND level preferably or NVQ Level 3 Engineering as a minimum
Able to work well under pressure in a busy manufacturing environment
Positive and driven character
Working knowledge of CMMS systems
