Finance Manager

Are you a skilled and detail-orientated Finance Manager, looking to work for a well-established company that offer amazing benefits?

We are recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a company based in Upminster on a full time, permanent basis. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm (35 hours per week) and paying a salary between £32k-£35k Per Annum (DOE). This is a hybrid role with 2/3 days working from home.

Duties Will Include But Not Be Limited To

• Managing financial procedures, and conducting financial analysis to support strategic financial guidance to teams and clients
• Overseeing accounts payable/receivable processes and invoices from subcontractors
• Completing financial planning, budgeting, and payroll
• Prepare financial reports; monthly quarterly and annual statements
• Assess and manage financial risks
• Implementing cost control measures to maximise profitability
• Monitor and manage cash flow to support daily operations
• Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring a collaborative and high performance work environment aiming for common goals
• Understanding of compliance with financial regulations and standards
  
  

Essential Skills And Knowledge

• Must have at least 3 years Finance Management experience
• Familiar with government-based funding - DWP/ATW would be an advantage
• Knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting
• IT literature - familiar with Xero, Payroll, Microsoft Office Teams
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team
• Ability to prioritise and organise workload to meet deadlines
