Are you a skilled and detail-orientated Finance Manager, looking to work for a well-established company that offer amazing benefits?
We are recruiting for a Finance Manager to join a company based in Upminster on a full time, permanent basis. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm (35 hours per week) and paying a salary between £32k-£35k Per Annum (DOE). This is a hybrid role with 2/3 days working from home.
Duties Will Include But Not Be Limited To
Managing financial procedures, and conducting financial analysis to support strategic financial guidance to teams and clients
Overseeing accounts payable/receivable processes and invoices from subcontractors
Completing financial planning, budgeting, and payroll
Prepare financial reports; monthly quarterly and annual statements
Assess and manage financial risks
Implementing cost control measures to maximise profitability
Monitor and manage cash flow to support daily operations
Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring a collaborative and high performance work environment aiming for common goals
Understanding of compliance with financial regulations and standards
Essential Skills And Knowledge
Must have at least 3 years Finance Management experience
Familiar with government-based funding - DWP/ATW would be an advantage
Knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting
IT literature - familiar with Xero, Payroll, Microsoft Office Teams
Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills
Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team
Ability to prioritise and organise workload to meet deadlines
