We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Planner to join our established Transport division! Based in our central Manchester office, you will be joining a fun, highly engaged team who love what they do! Our team have a wealth of experience and will offer support, development opportunities and expert advice. Working collaboratively and as part of our national team you will be exposed to a wide variety of project work and practice.
Your role will include:
As a Transport Planner, you will be supporting with a wide range of transport projects both within the public and private sector, working with your clients to provide effective solutions. You can also expect to develop your skills within:

Our transport team are advising developers, planners, and public bodies to better understand travel behaviours which influences site development and investment in infrastructure.
We’re engaged in all aspects of traffic and transportation planning, working on projects with a broad range of clients including public sector and private sector organisations. You can find out more about our projects here!

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
Degree qualified in a relevant subject (Preferable to have completed an MSc in Transport Planning but this is not essential – we welcome applications from candidates with related degrees such as Civil Engineering, Geography, Planning and Maths). If in doubt, get in touch!
Experience working within traffic modelling, including junction modelling, travel plans and CAD design.
Experience of data analysis, interpretation and presentation.
