\nTo support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to come and join our team at our Chesterton site in Newcastle ST5 7ES.
\nKey responsibilities:
\nAbility to take ownership of the role
\nHands on Cleaning of machinery and plant
\nAbility to rotor and prioritise your own workload
\nOperation of mobile plant as required
\nGreasing and oiling of production plant
\nAdhering to health & safety, quality and environmental systems
\nTo deliver through the process improvement initiatives and continuous improvement
\nAssist with production when required
\nCreating and maintaining the highest standards of 5S’s housekeeping and environmental management
\nAssist in the development of SSOP’s and Risk Assessments
\nEssential qualifications & experience:
\nExcellent timekeeping, attendance and flexibility
\nSelf-motivated
\nNumerate & literate.
\nTeam working attitude.
\nAbility to also work alone.
\nExcellent communication skills.
\nHigh degree of Health & Safety awareness.
\nAbility to work as part of a team or on your own.
\nAbility to learn to operate key manufacturing and mobile plant.
\nWillingness to undergo further training and development.
\nPrevious labour intensive role
\nDesirable qualifications & experience:
\nExperience of working in a continuous improvement environment.
\nA certified counterbalance FLT driver is advantageous.
\nA recognised up-skill.
\nTraining & Development
