The Managing Director will play a pivotal role in the strategic leadership and operational excellence of our new brand, L'Odysee. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and overseeing initiatives that enhance team performance, optimize operational processes, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Provide local strategic input and tactical execution to the business ensuring that all the objectives stated in L’Odyssee’s Business / Strategic Plan are delivered on time and on budget.
Responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the office including facilities management.
Develop and cultivate high quality relationships with all partners.
Strong focus on commercial elements, responsible for representing the brand, spreading the word of L’Odyssee strategically to benefit the business.
Set up business strategies and perform business development in accordance with the group’s guideline.
Ensure that the organizational structure is effective and fit for purpose in accordance with corporate interests and local regulations.
Overseeing local operations and provision of effective and hands-on leadership and direction.
Participate in the development and launch of new products and services.
Monitor all outsource service contracts by ensuring that they are signed and properly executed.
Help to hire (and subsequently manage) all staff requirements.
Select key service suppliers and ensure that they deliver optimized services.
Ensure that all staff performance is monitored, reviewed, and meeting all requirements.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key local industry stakeholders.
Professional Requirements:
Demonstrable experience of managing a Global business.
Must have experience within the Luxury sector.
An entrepreneurial spirit – ideally established a business from scratch previously.
Significant and in-depth knowledge of financial services / credit cards an advantage.
Prior experience of the HNW/UHNW market.
Fluent in English an additional language is a plus.
A business or management professional qualification would be desirable.
Outstanding leadership, motivational and communications skills.
