On behalf of Our client on the outskirts of South Birmingham we are looking to recruit experienced CNC Millers Programmer Setter Operator. This role has arisen due to continued investment into the companies facility including new machines and equipment. Our client is a well renowned engineering company with a growing order book and continues to work on exciting projects within Automotive, Medical, Aerospace and Environmental. This is a permanent and secure role in a business that looks to progress and upskill their team to ensure their skillsets are always growing. The successful candidate will have a strong background programming setting and operating 3,4, and 5 axis CNC Millers. The ideal candidate will have experience programming using Fanuc controls, however programming can also be done using CADCAM Software therefore CADCAM Programming experience is advantageous. There will also be training opportunities for candidates who wish to progress their CADCAM Skills and knowledge.

CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator

• Setting and Operating a variety of CNC Milling machines 3,4 and 5 axis
• Programming/ Editing programmes using Fanuc controls or using the CADCAM software
• CADCAM Programming experience will be highly advantageous
• Supporting other machinists to ensure work is caried out on time
• Experience interpreting Engineering Drawings
• Work to tight tolerances and inspection of own work
• To work to your own initiative and understand manufacturing processes

CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator

• Strong knowledge of Fanuc or HAAS controls
• A good understanding of Engineering drawings
• Ability to work to tight tolerances
• Ability to set and operate 3,4,5 Axis CNC Machines
• CADCAM Programming Knowledge
