Salary: £41,000 - £45,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

My client is seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Engineer/Supervisor to join their team in Tiverton. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to take the lead in overseeing engineering operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of their facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of engineers, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.
• Manage and coordinate maintenance and repair activities across the site.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the team, with a focus on electrical or mechanical systems based on your expertise.
• Participate in the call-out rota, with frequency dependent on your bias (Electrical: 1 in 4 weeks, Mechanical: 1 in 3 weeks).
  
  

Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a hospital or healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge in either electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Experience with steam boilers is advantageous, though full training will be provided after the probationary period.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

• A pool vehicle is provided for call-out duties, though it cannot be used for personal use or commuting.
• Competitive salary ranging between £41,000 and £45,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
