Job Posting for Assistant Accountant at KCR Solutions Recruitment Agency
KCR Solutions are delighted to be working with this growing firm of Accountants based near Washington in their search for an Assistant Accountant. You will be involved in the day-to-day bookkeeping and preparation of clients VAT returns. The Assistant Accountant will be a key member of the Practice and good communications with clients is essential.
The Key Duties Of The Post Are As Follows
Preparation of accounts for Limited Companies and Sole Traders
Preparation of VAT returns
Maintaining bookkeeping records for a varied portfolio of clients
Posting automatic feeds from banks, and reconciliation of client bank accounts
Uploading purchase and sales invoices
Reconciliation of clients’ Debtors and Creditors
General accounts duties as required
The Person
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in a similar practice role - essential.
Good computer literacy, great attention to detail and well organised.
Flexibility - ability to react and respond positively to changes in priority and workload.
Ability to work using own initiative as well as being a team player.
Ability to multi-task, good time management and work well under pressure.
This role is to be fully office based, hours are 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday
