Manufacturing Engineer West Midlands Nuclear Opportunity

LDNY People are currently working in partnership with a leading Engineering and Manufacturing Business, they specialise in providing bespoke engineering solutions into the Nuclear industry.
They currently have an opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team, the position is based out of their facility near Birmingham.
Role Requirements:
Instruct the most efficient method of manufacture of components and assemblies, ensuring safety, quality are adhered to.
Generate Manufacturing Documentation in the form of manufacturing inspection and test plans (MITP).
To provide Manufacturing Technical Knowledge and instruction from the design stage to the completion of manufacture including feeding information into the design team for DFM.
Seek, facilitate and achieve direct improvements to processes, which could include investment, creating a business case for improvements to productivity, efficiency, quality.
To be involved during design review drawings and plans to ensure they are able to be produced effectively and reliably contain the correct instruction for manufacture.
To identify waste (lean definition) and non value adding activities to eliminate and streamline the manufacturing process.
Role Requirements:
At least 4 years industrial experience working within a manufacturing role.
Knowledge in a machining/and or welding in a lean environment.
In depth knowledge of the manufacturing process, you will be from either a machining, mechanical, electrical, welding or electronic assembly background.
A knowledge of welding processes and how different processes affect different materials.
Produce detailed manufacture instructions for planners, operators, inspectors.
Ability to communicate clear concise instructions.
