While Manchetts Group has already set high standards for customer satisfaction with their award-winning MAN branded workshops in Peterborough, Spalding, and Newmarket, the company’s commitment to ‘Everything Automotive’ extends to servicing all types of HGV, LCV, and car brands.

Manchetts Rescue and Recovery is looking to extend its team further and is looking for an Office Assistant to join the team in Burwell, Cambs.

Key duties include

  • Answering calls
  • Filing, photocopying
  • Mailshots
  • Dealing with post
  • Replying to emails
  • Office supplies and stationary ordering
  • Ad hoc administration tasks as set by the management team.
  • Administration of company fuel cards
  • Ordering and control of employee PPE
  • Chasing missing invoices
  • Dealing with employee expense claims
  • General office administration duties

The model candidate would:

· be computer literate and have experience using Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel

· work well as part of a team but have the ability to work on your own initiative.

· be able to provide quality customer service to the management team, colleagues, and customers.

· be able to communicate positively and assertively in what can be a busy working environment.

· have excellent time management and organisational skills.

· excellent numeracy and analytical skills with competency in dealing with financial information.

· have the ability to multitask and prioritise workload

· have the ability to work under pressure in a calm and methodical way during busy periods.

· have a ‘can do’ attitude to the job.

· ideally have a basic knowledge from within the motoring industry but not essential

Terms and Conditions

  • Pay: Competitive, depending on knowledge, skills and experience
  • Hours: 37.5 per week, Mon – Fri 9.00am – 5.00pm with 30-minute unpaid lunch break

Pay: £24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
