Our client, a leading organisation in the Defence and Security sector, is currently seeking a Production Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves working within a stimulating Defence Programme and offers the opportunity to make significant contributions to the manufacturing and production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Executing precise soldering tasks and ensuring high-quality standards
Overseeing production processes to maintain efficiency and effectiveness
Collaborating with manufacturing teams to optimise workflows
Ensuring compliance with Defence Programme requirements and protocols
Conducting regular quality control checks and troubleshooting production issues
Documenting production reports and maintaining accurate records
Job Requirements:
Experience in soldering within a production or manufacturing environment
Understanding of production processes within the Defence sector
Ability to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
Effective communication and collaboration skills
