Our client, a prominent player in the HTP sector, is currently seeking a Site Manager on a contract basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to assist in delivering a wide range of major project schemes. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in supervising all aspects of onsite maintenance and improvement schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the Health and Safety of yourself, the workforce, and the public in accordance with SHEQ processes and procedures.
Manage construction sites to programme and budget.
Engage with WNC, the public, elected councillors, and parish councils.
Ensure sites are compliant with Chapter 8 and the Construction (Design and Management) regulations.
Interpret documents, scheme drawings, and B.O.Q's in line with NEC4 contract requirements.
Inspect work quality in accordance with the Inspection Test Plan and current specifications.
Ensure compliance with NEC4 change control procedures for early warnings and compensation events.
Promote the wellbeing of your team and ensure an inclusive workplace.
Job Requirements:
HNC or equivalent in Civil Engineering.
NRSWA Supervisor certification.
12D Traffic Management certification.
NEBOSH General and Construction Certificate.
SMSTS certification.
Clean driving licence.
Skills:
Experience in managing direct employees and civil engineering contractors.
IT literate - proficient in MS Office and order management databases.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Experience in people management and motivation of staff.
Proven ability to instruct and direct staff.
Ability to organise both self and others effectively.
Self-motivated and proactive.
