We’re looking for a Finance and Compliance Administrator to join us at our Manchester branch! Experience working with teams in other locations is a plus, as you’ll work closely with our school in Liverpool.
Position Summary:
In this role, you’ll report directly to the school’s Administration Manager. You’ll work as part of the administration team and the finance team, while working closely with other departments, including our teachers, HR, sales, marketing, and management, both in Liverpool and Manchester. You’ll have the opportunity to work both in the back office and at other times be customer-facing.

Must possess the ability to switch between tasks with ease. Must be extremely organized, detail-orientated, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be able to work well both individually and as part of a team, and possess customer-facing skills.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
Compliance
- Monitor and keep accurate records of students’ attendance, and monitor and process students' holidays.
- Monitor the attendance of TIER 4 and U18 students and investigate any absences.
- Issue warning letters to students where necessary.
- Ensure that all documents (passports, visas, BRPs) are valid and up to date.
- Develop and implement an effective compliance program.
- Create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to it.
- Calculating attendance figures for progress reports
- Communicating with Kuwaiti Cultural Office (KCO) and the Saudi Military Attaché (SMA), regarding student attendance and courses
- Answer phone calls, emails, and face-to-face queries in a timely professional manner
- Work with key team members in a cross-departmental team (e.g. Accommodation, Finance, Sales)
- Have a customer-orientated approach when dealing with students queries
- Be flexible in the job role to meet business demands
Finance
- Create and update spreadsheets of daily transactions.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable.
- Review and process reimbursements.
- Prepare budgets.
- Maintain reports on financial metrics, including investments, return on assets and growth rates.
- Keep records of invoices and payments
- Identify and address account discrepancies.
- Report on financial projections (e.g. liquidity and cash flow)
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Prior administration experience required
- Experience working with customers required
- Experience with either admissions or finance is a plus
- Experience working in a student support capacity is a plus
