Role Title: Physician Associate

Medical Staffing is delighted to offer a great opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Physician associate who wishes to develop their career within an exceptional primary care environment.

A bit about the role:

• Provide first point of contact care for patients presenting with undifferentiated, undiagnosed problems by utilizing history taking, physical examination and clinical decision making skills to establish a working diagnosis and management plan with the patient.
• Support management of patient's conditions through specialised clinics including but not limited to - Family planning, baby checks, COPD, Asthma, diabetes and anticoagulation.
• Provide health and disease promotion and prevention advice alongside analysing and actioning diagnostic test results.
• Participate in duty rotas, undertaking face to face, telephone and online consultations for emergency or routine problems as determined by the PCN , including management of patients with LTC.
• Undertake home visits when required.
• Utilize clinical guidelines and promote evidence based practice and partake in clinical audits, significant event reviews and other research and analysis.

Physician Associate requirements and qualifications:

• Must have either PG diploma or MSC
• Excellent communication skills
• Must have experience in a Primary care setting
• Attention to detail
• Has passed UK physician associate national re-certification exam
• Ideally a prescriber
• Participates in continuing professional development - CPD
• Able to work efficiently, while adapting to different environments

Pay: £25.00-£40.00 per hour
