Due to the incredible growth of Medik8, we’re expanding our consumer base and branching out to all our distributors to approach new exciting channels. We have an amazing opportunity for an ambitious and resourceful individual to join our team as a Business Development Manager.

As the overseer of our EMEA/ROW/Distributors, you will ensure that Medik8 maintains a premium position with each qualified partner in our strategic markets, aiming to make Medik8 a Top 3 player brand in each country.

Reporting to the EMEA/ROW GM, you will drive business expansion, establish strategic partnerships, and maximise sales growth within the EU territories. Your primary responsibility will be to identify white space opportunity within EMEA&ROW region; establish sustainable & profitable routes to market by region; cultivate and strengthen relationships with key accounts, and implement effective strategies to increase product adoption. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in sales in multi-channel European markets, a deep passion for the skincare industry, and experience in utilising sales data.

This role will significantly contribute to our ambitious global journey. You will play a key role in ensuring continuous profitable growth through our multichannel strategy, maintaining Medik8's values, branding, and philosophy while strengthening the regional presence of one of the most innovative and conscious brands on the market!

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Identify white space opportunities for the brand and establish sustainable & profitable partnerships in these markets.
  • Build business cases for Leadership & Board to align with strategy and establish best routes to pursue by market.
  • Identify and deploy the best strategies for our qualified partners in each market to support brand development. Create, monitor, and adjust strong and ambitious forecasts for each strategic account.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies & joint business plans for our qualified partners to support brand development and expansion, leveraging deep consumer & retails knowledge by market. Continuously evaluate and adjust forecasts for strategic accounts to ensure robust growth.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Marketing and our distributors to optimise plans end-to-end, delivering and negotiating optimum activations that maximise visibility and conversion across each territory, including Professional, Retail, E-tail, and Pharmacy channels.
  • Maximise the growth potential of each partner by continuously reevaluating customer P&L, market exposure, product and channel portfolio, and other relevant factors.
  • Define and implement KPIs for all key partners, ensuring adequate tracking of each activity is visible to the business and that results are communicated effectively.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in managing multi-channels distributors and partners within the skincare and beauty industry in the EMEA market. Experience in France & Germany ideal.
  • Deep understanding of cross-channel businesses, customers, and pricing dynamics.
  • Strong commercial, financial, and business acumen, with the ability to work with complex data and translate it into actionable plans for diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end negotiation management, including knowledge of legal and corporate governance principles.
  • Prior experience working with or within key players in the retail, e-commerce space and Amazon is not essential but will be a significant advantage.
