Milestone Infrastructure is the UK's leading highways maintenance provider. Due to a number of key contract wins we are looking to recruit a Technical Support and Data Engineer.

As the Technical Support and Data Engineer you will be part of our Works Order Systems Support Team who are responsible for the management and support of our Works Order Management Solution (Causeway).

We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Technical Support Engineer to provide exceptional technical assistance and problem resolution to our internal contracts utilising the Causeway CPA Works Order Management System. As a key member of our technical support team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our contracts operations by promptly addressing and resolving technical issues, as well as offering guidance and recommendations.

As the Technical Support Engineer your duties & responsibilities will be:

  • Provide third line Technical Support for the Works Order portfolio comprising the Causeway Application Suite addressing inquiries, issues, and concerns promptly and effectively
  • Focus on the support and configuration of the client systems to CPA integrations and fully document their set up with contract specific differences.
  • Collaborate closely with our contracts to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical problems related to the system's configuration, functionality, and integration
  • Offer clear and concise instructions to our contracts on system usage, setup, and maintenance, ensuring they derive maximum value from the Causeway CPA Works Order Management System.
  • Document and track all support cases in a detailed manner, maintaining accurate records of actions taken and solutions provided using our in house incident management software
  • Participate in the development of technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and training materials to enhance customer self-help resources.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in the Causeway CPA Works Order Management System and associated technology stack, continuously enhancing your expertise to provide exceptional support
  • Business and vendor stakeholder management.
  • Manages the change, configuration & testing of the core Works Order Management Systems (Causeway)
  • Part of a highly motivated, customer-engaged team focused on delivering effective business solutions.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology would be desirable, but not essential or related field equivalent work- or education-related experience will also be taken into consideration
  • Ideally 5 years of experience in technical support or a similar role, ideally with experience in Causeway CPA Works Order Management System, but technical experience in other similar Works Order Management systems or ERP systems will be looked upon favourably.
  • Proficiency in configuration, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for Works Order Management Systems or ERP systems with technical experience in Causeway CPA Works Order Management System an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of systems integration and data management principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical users.
  • Customer-centric attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional support experiences.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Relevant certifications in Works Order Management Systems / ERP systems or related technologies is a plus.
