What do the people we support have to say?
We have a fantastic opportunity for a support worker to join our dedicated established team based in Ely, Cardiff.
I live in a two bedroom flat in the Ely area. I am a lady in my early 70's and I require 24 hour support with my daily living.
I enjoy a varied choice of activities at home ranging from arts and crafts, jigsaws, drawing/colouring, and aromatherapy. I also enjoy music and going out for days in my vehicle. I enjoy watching TV/DVDs at home especially cooking programmes.
I like to go out for meals, but it is important for me to follow a healthy eating plan.
Within my home I need support with all aspects of daily living including Manual Handling as I am a wheelchair user. I am very proud of my house and I like to keep it clean and tidy.
I do like to look smart and take a lot of pride in my appearance. I enjoy spending time with my family members.
