Weekend Customer Server for Bakery Market Stall

Moishe’s Bagelry & Bakery is a family owned bakery & market stall based in the world famous & incredibly vibrant Borough Market which is visited by over 20 million people per year. Specialising in traditional breads, bagels & pastry’s, we are the first 'bagelry' in the UK with a huge selection of flavours baked fresh daily.

Since opening, we are fast becoming the ‘go to’ place for our speciality breads inc challah, bagels and all things patisserie.

We are looking to recruit an additional crew member to join the market stall team and fill all or some of the following shifts -

Weekends - Saturday - 8am till 5.30pm / Sunday - 8.30am till 4.30pm / (when available Tuesday to Friday on an ad hoc basis as and when cover is needed). You can apply for 1 or all of the available shifts and we issue rotas 2 weeks in advance and normally for 1 month at a time (so can work round your availability).

The job consists of - Setting up our market stall. Displaying the bakery and patisserie items. Serving and advising the customers on the different types of breads and pastry's. Customer interaction and communication are crucial and key (and what makes the job fun). Clearing away at the end of the day before returning the stall to storage.

You'll need to be - Comfortable lifting, carrying and bending in order to setup and close the stall. YOU MUST be reliable and good with timekeeping (this is 100% crucial). Be comfortable working independently from time to time. A confident communicator who enjoys talking to customers.
