We have a great opportunity for a M365 Administrator to join our Enterprise Identity and Collaboration Team, within IT.
We’ve just put a brand new 10 year IT strategy in place that’s firmly aligned with our business strategy – a strategy which will bring big delivery challenges as well as one huge opportunity for your career.
The National Trust continues to make £multi-million investments to transform our technology capability in support of our cause. That’s no small task when you consider the incredible breadth of what we do. We strive to deliver powerful infrastructural changes with an ambitious technological roadmap.
This journey of transformation will deliver phenomenal benefits for our organisation and dramatically enhance how we connect people with our cause.
What it's like to work here:
Technology plays a huge and important role in our work here at the Trust. It’s important for us to stay ahead of the curve, so that we can continue to meet the needs of our members and visitors, as we grow support for our charity. Our vision is to equip the organisation with the technology we all need to do our jobs more efficiently and confidently. That means working collaboratively with people across all areas of the Trust to continuously develop and improve what we offer.
Our team is committed to making this happen.
Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there is flexibility on where you are based at other times. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.
What you'll be doing:
In this critical role, you’ll be driving and delivering on our technology roadmap, primarily as a Microsoft 365 administrator working across both the Microsoft and Cisco Webex ecosystems.
You’ll ensure that the Trust gets the most out of its Microsoft and Cisco Webex collaboration products, whilst keeping our charitable cause front of mind.
You’ll support, and develop Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint Online as well as looking after user identity and its process into Entra.
You’ll also drive identity integrations with other cloud-based services using Entra as the IdP.
Who we're looking for:
We’re looking for someone with passion for our cause and a desire to make a positive difference through impactful technology and positive social impact.
You’ll see it important to keep abreast of the latest Microsoft, collaboration and identity technologies, and come to us with enthusiasm and drive.
You can view the full role profile for this role in the document attached. You don't need to have all the knowledge, skills and experience listed in the role profile; this is just to provide a full picture of what is possible in this role.
