Job Title: Medical Secretary
Location: Hepatology Admin – Nottingham Uni Hopsitals
Hours: Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week
Trust Location: Nottingham University Hospitals, Derby Rd, Lenton, Nottingham NG7 2UH
This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.

What you’ll be responsible for:
· Providing high quality typing support for consultants and their teams
· Dealing with telephone enquiries, letters, email, collation of information/results and typing of clinics
· Demonstrate an ability to prioritise work within timescale.
· Deal with administration of department to assist clinical staff/managers.
· Ability to work well as a member of a team and ability to work unsupervised.
· Track and Pull data reporting
· Communication with Team, stakeholders and external 3rd parties.
You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
· An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
· Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
· A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
· Excellent telephone manner
· Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
· Excellent IT skills
· Audio typing skills/Med Sec experience
· Previous NHS experience preferred
