OXBO are working with an international Solar, Wind & BESS IPP. They are looking to add a Development Manager to their London team to work on their portfolio of predominantly Solar & BESS projects in the UK
Requirements
Site Identification and Evaluation: Identify and assess potential sites for solar, Wind, BES, and co-located projects, conducting comprehensive feasibility studies including technical, financial, and environmental assessments.
Land Lease Negotiations: Lead the assessment of commercial and contractual terms for each development opportunity ensuring its economic viability through financial modelling;
Project Management: Responsible for establishing and monitoring the schedule and budget of the development pipeline up to RTB phase; track and deliver pipeline DEVEX;
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, local communities, and industry partners technical and administrative milestones;
Reporting: Generate Investment Memorandums, manage all the required internal approval processes ensuring the right level of control during deployment of the opportunities across the various stages of development;
Permitting and Regulatory Compliance: Navigate the permitting process, liaising with local authorities, landowners, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
Strategic: Execute strategies for green field projects, existing projects and project acquisitions
Ownership: Take ownership of assigned projects, including managing deadlines, multiple project objectives, project timelines, and success criteria for each
Requirements
4 years in Project Development in the renewables sector in the UK
Proven success in developing and delivering renewable energy projects, having successfully delivered solar projects through planning
