Job Description
Perform daily bookkeeping duties including recording, classifying, and summarising financial transactions.
Review and reconcile financial statements and ledgers.
Monthly CIS returns
Quarterly VAT returns
Data entry up to accounts preparation and completion
Completion and calculations of self assessments
Corporation Tax returns
Ensure the accuracy of financial data and compliance with accounting standards.
Prepare various financial reports including balance sheets and income statements.
Work closely with other team members in the accounting and finance department.
Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
Support auditing activities when necessary.
Undertake administrative tasks as required.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Bookkeeper Should Have
A strong understanding of accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
Good organisational and time-management abilities.
Strong communication skills for liaising with colleagues and clients.
A qualification in AAT/ICB
