About this role

The Communications Manager will work hand in hand with the Marketing Manager and report to the Chief Strategy Officer. This role plays an important role in delivering clear and consistent messaging and storytelling on our purpose, mission, brand and product, guiding communications to all audiences (press, influencers, customers and partners).

PR & Communications

  • Responsible for developing and leading PR and communications plans in line with brand objectives to enhance brand visibility and reputation
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets to ensure consistent press coverage, working with the global PR agency to achieve key coverage 
  • Coordinate and manage PR events, media engagements, and press conferences
  • Provide input into the Go-to-Market PR strategy for product launches and brand initiatives 
  • Manage partner expectations and review communications with collaborators to ensure alignment and consistency 
  • Identify and manage all award submissions with input from the global PR agency and wider team 
  • Manage and brief in stakeholder appearances at international events for speaking engagements
  • Monitor the press office inbox and respond to the day to day press office queries

Messaging & Copy

  • Set messaging for each launch as part of the go-to-market strategy, working with the Growth team to define consistent communication across all channels and materials
  • Draft messaging and communications materials on compelling phasing to support product, innovation, collaborations and brand launches worldwide
  • Review written copy for each channel to ensure it aligns with established messaging guidelines and maintains consistency


Requirements

  • Proven experience in executing successful communications strategies of at least three years
  • Strong agency or in-house brand experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to foster inter-departmental relationships
  • Ability to think creatively and generate innovative ideas
  • A passion for creative writing
  • A strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Proactive attitude with excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
