Are you an experienced Press Brake Setter/Operator looking for your next opportunity? A well-established SME in Knowsley is seeking a skilled individual to join their growing team. This role offers an excellent hourly rate, full-time working hours with an early finish on Fridays, and the potential to secure a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC Press Brake machines with precision and efficiency

Interpret and work from engineering drawings to meet production standards

Perform quality checks to ensure finished parts meet specifications

Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety standards

Collaborate with the team and follow established company processes

Use precision measuring tools to verify product dimensions

Support lean manufacturing practices to improve operational efficiency

What we're looking for:

Minimum of 3 years' experience setting and operating CNC Press Brake machines

Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail

A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and solve problems

Familiarity with measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers)

A solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles is advantageous
