Job Title: Stonemason

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Stonemason to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be crafting fireplace hearths using various stone materials. The ideal candidate should have expertise in working with and cutting stones such as slate, limestone, sandstone, and granite, and be proficient in using modern machinery and battery-powered hand tools.

Responsibilities:

• Operate machinery and input data to create precise shapes and sizes for hearth stones.
• Use hand tools for detailed precision finishing work.
• Select and prepare stones for cutting.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Stonemason or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of safety procedures when working with stone materials.
• Proficiency with power tools for cutting and shaping stone surfaces.

About Us: At Primethorpe, we are a family-run company with 25 years of experience in stone work. Currently, we have 10 employees, but due to high growth levels, we are looking to expand our strong and friendly team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.50-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
